The deadline to submit applications for this year's Operation Snowball retreat has been extended to Friday, October 11! The retreat will be held November 21 - 23 at Camp Edwards in East Troy, WI.
GBN's Operation Snowball is a club dedicated to promoting healthy decision-making, personal growth, and a sense of community among students and staff. Many students who have participated in Operation Snowball consider it one of the most meaningful experiences of their high school years, and many parents love it too. A parent shared, "Snowball is an amazing experience that all kids should consider. Its focus is on being open, vulnerable, and being alcohol and drug-free. My older son, who is in college, said it was life-changing.”
The retreat serves as a kick-off event for the club’s activities and provides students with opportunities to learn more about themselves and discuss a wide variety of topics important to their lives. Snowball creates an atmosphere in which everyone is accepted for who they are and has a lot of fun doing it. It's a great way to make new friends and feel more connected at GBN.
