32 Questions with Principal Hughes
|
Glenbrook North senior Matteo Gatchalian walks the halls and asks Principal Hughes 32 questions as she begins her journey at GBN.
|
As a reminder, starting this school year, District 225 will implement new procedures for cell phone storage in classrooms to enhance student achievement, engagement, and well-being. Each classroom will have a cell phone caddy near the entrance, where students must place their phones in numbered pouches for the entire class block. Phones can be used during passing periods, lunch, or SRT and for instructional activities as directed by teachers.
Please review the detailed information in the email sent to students and families on August 2, as well as the guidelines in the parent-student handbook and FAQ document. Teachers will cover this information with students in the first two days of school, including consequences for non-compliance. For questions or further clarification, contact the Dean’s Office at your student’s school.
Thank you for helping us create a focused learning environment.

Glenbrook North High School is excited to share that more than 72 students have registered for the 2024-2025 internship course. The semester-long course gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to work 60 hours in an industry in which they are interested before solidifying their post-secondary plans.
Students who have enrolled in the course have completed an interest survey that assists the internship coordinators during the pairing process. We are in need of a variety of businesses to host our interns. If you have a business or know of a business that has the capacity to host an intern, please visit our internship webpage where you can learn more about the course and the business's responsibilities, or email Mary Kosirog mkosirog@glenbrook225.org for more information.
