GBN Student Selected as Member of Mental Health Youth Advisory Council
|
Lilian Huang, Class of 2026, has been selected as a member of the Mental Health Youth Advisory Council for Creative Visions’ #CreateConnectCare initiative. This national storytelling and creative expression campaign focuses on youth mental health and well-being. We would like to encourage students to submit creative expressions to the #CreateConnectCare campaign at this link from now until March 31, 2025, in an effort to raise awareness and inspire others to do the same.

Glenbrook North is proud to present the 2025 Variety Show, "Momentum", which will feature outstanding student talent. The show will be held in the CPA on Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Reserved seating tickets are $17 and will be available beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 8 p.m. Students with an activity pass can visit the SAO to reserve one discounted $12 ticket.

Junior parents and students are invited to attend the annual College Colloquium at Glenbrook South on Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This program has been designed to provide families from Glenbrook South and Glenbrook North the opportunity to attend sessions on a variety of topics associated with the college selection process. Various breakout sessions will be offered to help families plan for the road ahead. We’re looking forward to seeing you at Glenbrook South High School on Saturday, March 1. In this interactive session, we’ll dive into why the culture of helicopter parenting isn’t working and how we can shift toward a healthier, more empowering approach -to let your kids—and yourself—thrive. Dr. Andrea Goddard, PsyD (Founder of Breakthrough Psychotherapy), will lead the session.
