Families are needed to host high school students from Glenbrook South’s sister school in Japan. Families provide a warm welcome along with meals and lodging from Saturday, March 1 - Wednesday, March 5, 2025. This unique opportunity gives Glenbrook families a chance to learn about Japanese language and culture, and our visiting students get to experience life and culture of the United States. Life-long friendships have been made throughout the years of this special program!
If you are interested in hosting a student from Japan or would like more information, please complete this Google form by Friday, January 17. You are not obligated to host by submitting the form; it just helps us to identify interest for planning and potential pairing. Interested Glenbrook families should also plan to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, January 29 from 6-7 p.m. in room 2300 at Glenbrook South. You are welcome to reach out to Danita Fitch, Instructional Supervisor of World Languages at GBS, at dfitch@glenbrook225.org with questions.
